I would like to offer a long-overdue thank you to the staff at Sonlight Camp for so graciously hosting the Pagosa Peak Open School for the last three years for Winter Ecology week each February. Camp directors Emrys and Sara Tyler, the “Boss of Fun” Bryce Baca and their other stellar staff have made sure to offer delicious meals, hot cocoa, superhero cookies and stoke the fire, as students return cold, tired, and hungry from snowshoe hikes through the forest.
